Following his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College, Dr. DeVito graduated from Albany Medical College. He completed a five-year general surgical training program at the Hospital at St. Raphael where he was Chief Resident in General Surgery. He did his urological training at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His professional affiliations include the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association Certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been part of The Urology Center group since 1982, and has privileges at both Yale-New Haven Hospital and Hospital at St. Raphael.

Dr. DeVito and his wife Dr. Karen Gaudio, a pediatric nephrologist at Yale, reside in Branford with their two children
