Stanton C. Honig, M.D.
Dr. Honig specializes in male
fertility disorders and sexual
dysfunction, in addition to
general urology. Having formal
fellowship training in male
reproductive and sexual medicine
and surgery, he performs and
teaches urologic microsurgery. He
is one of few such specialists in
the State of Connecticut. Dr.
Honig is a graduate of the State
University of New York at
Binghamton, and received his
medical degree at
SUNY/Stonybrook School of
Medicine with distinction in
research. Following postgraduate
training at Beth Israel Medical
Center in general surgery, he
completed his urological training
at Boston University School of
Medicine. He then spent
additional time at Baylor College
in the field of male reproductive
and sexual medicine and surgery.
He is, and continues to be, a
published author of textbooks,
journal articles and national
presentations in this area.
In addition to his practice in
New Haven, he is Director of the
Male Infertility and Sexual
Dysfunction Clinic at the
University of Connecticut
School of Medicine. Dr. Honig
is board certified by the
American Board of Urology
He is an active hiker,
backpacker as well as an
avid tennis player
